Y'all know we rarely, if ever, discuss Supahead Karrine Steffans. But now that some legal papers have been filed and drama is still ensuing, it's only fitting.
A judge just granted Karrine a temporary restraining order for her ex husband Darius McCrary, and he must stay 100 yards away from her. In the documents, the video vixen turned author says her ex "choked her from behind and beat her with a belt", all in front of her 12 year old son.
This wasn't the only incident between the two. Karrine claims McCrary was abusive again in November. She claims he choked her and shoved her into a car in front of a large crowd in LA. The temporary restraining order says that McCrary must stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-wife. Karrine is asking to make the restraining order more permanent and is scheduled in court next week.
Karrine sent out a letter to some sites a few weeks ago detailing how Darius was abusing her. No one believed her and viewed it as a publicity stunt because Karrine has a history of being a pathological liar. On a a side note...I wish I WOULD get "handled" by Eddie Winslow. That's just foolish.
About two years ago, Darius filed a restraining order against Karrine claiming that she was abusing him. The two divorced earlier this year. And hopefully they're both getting the obvious therapy that they need...
THE YBF UPDATE:
Darius McCrary has responded to the allegations made by Karrine Steffans that he beat her. The actor told TMZ today that "...in no way does he condone anyone resorting to violence against another human being to solve a problem."
He says this drama is all about divorce proceedings gone haywire and that Karrine "didn't take the finality of the divorce well and has resorted to her old tricks of public defamation."
Unfortunately Karrine has a twelve-year-old son involved in this mess. A hearing has been set for next week.
